Essie Winter Polishes

Cosy-up this winter with these 6 Gorgeous winter shades from Essie

A Winter shade Story by Essie Weingarten , president and founder of Essie Cosmetics… It encompasses the perfect nail colours, with the perfect names, with the perfect winter scenarios!

The Essie nail polishes are a firm favourite amongst many women, and for good reason. Their colour range is outstanding, and every season they surprise us with one of a kind colour collections.

I personally find that I need to apply a base and top coat when I wear the Essie polishes to ensure they will last. Both are always a good idea and give a much better looking finish. I work with my hands, so finding long lasting nail polishes is a challenge for me.

**Tip: Whenever wearing darker nail colours ALWAYS wear a base coat! Trust me you will thank me when it comes to removing the colour 🙂

My two favourite colours in this range are Warm & Toasty Turtleneck, a unique taupe, pastel purple, and Mind Your Mittens, a deep turquoise, corduroy blue. The brush is easy to use and great for getting into the corners without painting all over your fingers.

Warm & Toasty Turtleneck needed two coats to achieve an opaque finish. This is truly a unique purple that goes so well with my cosy winter jerseys.

One coat of Mind Your Mittens gave an opaque finish. I think this colour is more versatile as it can go with light fluffy jerseys or dark tailored coats.

Essie nail polishes are Available at Sorbet Salons for R120
